Microsoft’s events strategy is constantly evolving and we know it can be difficult to keep track of what is happening, and when. Most significantly, this year they have retired the stand-alone global partner event (Inspire) and instead, partners are invited to join customers at Ignite in November 2024 in a combined showcase event! They have also added MCAPS Start for Partners as a digital launch of the FY25 strategies. [MCAPS is an internal acronym; Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions – it’s the name of the entire field sales operation reporting up to the COO, Judson Althoff, and MCAPS Start is effectively their Sales Kickoff for the new FY starting 1 July]
We’ve done some digging and compiled this list of events we are aware of over the next six months. Some of them are community events, not directly run by Microsoft, but all worth consideration.
We can’t promise that there won’t be new additions – but for now here is our lineup of some of the key events till the end of this year for you to explore. If you know of any more – please share them via our community chat! We’ll also highlight key events on the IAMCP events page.
